I'm a lover of yoga and began practicing in my 20's. In late 2014, I wanted to deepen my practice so I completed an intense 200-hour yoga teacher training program with Yandara Yoga Institute. I'm currently registered with Yoga Alliance and previously taught at Homewood Senior Center in Frederick, MD.
Over the years, I have practiced various styles of yoga; including, vinyasa, bikram, yin, anusara, restorative and nidra. However, my passion is gentle yoga. My teaching style combines restorative poses with pranayama/breathwork. Body awareness is also heavily emphasized in my classes.
Never tried yoga? Want to practice yoga but not into the whole "scene?" No need to be flexible; just the willingness to allow more relaxation and peace into your life are necessary. Fancy yoga clothes are not. All levels are welcomed, including beginners.
